The Ministry of Culture informs artists songwriters and musicians, that they are invited to compete for the composition of the official song (music and lyrics) of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM). The winning song will be used in ceremonies of CARICOM ta the national and international level.

The winner will receive a prize of 10,000 U.S. dollars. The second 5,000 dollars and the third 2,500 dollars.

Entries are received by the Office of Communication of the Ministry of Culture, from Monday to Friday between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm Works must be submitted no later than June 28, 2013.

The song of CARICOM, will be promoted at the regional level, should be a formal and patriotic musical composition that evokes and celebrates the history, traditions and struggles of our peoples of the Caribbean.
