Haiti - NOTICE : Circuits transfer to the Sub-Station of Ancien Delmas

The Directorate General of Electricity of Haiti (EDH), informs its clients and the public in general, that the process of transfer of 4 circuits on the new 50 MVA transformer at the substation of Ancien Delmas, will be done this Thursday, June 27, 2013, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. During this process the residents of the municipality of Delmas, Nazon, Christ-Roi, Lalue, Clercine, Airport Road, section between the street Justin and Butte Boyer to only name some, will be without electricity.

The tests to this substation being fully successful, this first transfer process will allow to power, thanks to this new power transformer certain areas in order to correct the situation faced by many customers since April 25, especially in the municipality of Delmas.

Not being able to supply all other circuits at once, the transfer of other circuits fed by the substation will be done gradually inform the EDH, which wishes to thank its customers for their patience and understanding, and relies on its cooperation to the full completion and the resumption of normal power hours.
