In its efforts to improve the effectiveness of public servants at any level they belong, the Office of Management and Human Resources (OMRH) holds for some time, for them, a series of training seminars, convinced that only a systemic approach will regulate the functioning of public administration and print a paradigm shift.

Thus after having addressed issues relating to the reception function and fleet management of the State https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-9813-haiti-education-the-omrh-addresses-the-important-issue-of-vehicles-of-the-state.html the OMRH believes appropriate to teach the drivers and their supervisors the concepts and principles inherent to their profession, for a better functioning of their sector of activity.

As stressed Mr. Uder Antoine, General Coordinator of the OMRH, "some believe it is enough to know how to handle a wheel to be a driver. Nothing is more false. Drive VIPs or personalities occupying high positions requires skills, detailed knowledge of the highway code and courtesy. There is no doubt that this job requires various skills and behaviors, which includes a perfect mastery of the driving itself, security, communication, confidentiality and mutual assistance."

In the first session of the training [12 and 13 November] will participate ministry staff and in the second session [November 14 and 15] of agents from autonomous bodies and decentralized technical services, it will enable beneficiaries inter alia : to evaluate the strengths and limitations of the driver function ; to analyze malpractice of drivers of the State ; to establish the difference between a driver and a driver of people ; to define the roles, responsibilities and main tasks of the driver ; to clarify the ethical behavior expected and the integration of best practices in the function of driver ;
