Haiti - Heritage : Official launch of the project PAST

On Monday, the Ministries of Economy and Finance; Culture; Tourism and Creative Industries, proceeded to the official launch ceremony of the Project to support the preservation of cultural heritage and development of tourism in the North of Haiti (PAST), at the Hostellerie du Roi, in the country's second largest city, Cap-Haitien.

The objective of this project funded by the World Bankto the tune of 45 million US dollars https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-11554-haiti-flash-signature-of-$139m-in-grant-with-the-world-bank.html is to "contribute to the inclusive development of northern Haiti by focusing on cultural sites".

Ms. Jessy Menos, the Secretary of State for Tourism, congratulated and thanked the World Bank for its support and reiterated the commitment of the Ministry of Tourism to work for the sustainable development of the historical and tourist of choice.
