Announced April 10, 2014, https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-10915-haiti-tourism-hilton-will-build-a-hotel-in-haiti.html Hilton Garden Inn hotel is scheduled to open in early 2017, according to Ms. Karla Visconti, Head of Communications for the Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton Worldwide.

The project designed by CAB SA, owner of the Visa Lodge, estimated at $ 26 million, includes the construction of a 11-storey hotel of 152 rooms, managed by Hilton Worldwide Group.

There will be a full service restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a lobby. The hotel will also feature the "24-hour Pavilion Pantry®" shop with a selection of delicious meals, drinks and snacks. Recreational facilities will be equipped with an outdoor pool and a free fitness center with cardio equipment and weights "Precor".

Visitors to the "Hilton Garden Inn Port-au-Prince Louverture Airport" will also have access to a comfortable meeting space : 3 modular meeting rooms and a conference room. The "Hilton Garden Inn" will have free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour business center will complement the facilities.

This hotel will be located less than a kilometer from the airport Toussaint Louverture, opposite the Visa Lodge. This will be the first Hilton Garden Inn in the Caribbean and the only international brand hotel to the airport.
