The European Union and all the partners of the Support Program for the Reconstruction and Development of Neighborhoods (PARAQ) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-19468-haiti-european-union-reconstruction-and-development-of-neighborhoods-positive-results-of-paraq.html , as well as the Town Hall of Port-au-Prince have united to organize the first FestiVIL, a day of celebration of the neighborhoods to be held at Place Jérémie in Port-au-Prince on Friday 9 December starting at 3:00 pm and ending with a free BIC concert.

Exhibitions of the different PARAQ projects that have been implemented in the neighborhoods will allow the public to see the evolution of the inhabitants' living environment: reconstructed housing, stairs and corridors, roads, wash houses, playgrounds or promenades.

The "Constructobus" of the Ministry of Public Works, a specially equipped bus to explain the criteria of safe construction to the public;

Children will be invited to draw the city or their ideal neighborhood on canvases placed on the central esplanade, a collective of professional graphers will embellish the walls of the staircase in front of the public, in real time.

The Dance Troupe of the Carrefour neighborhood. ; of Rara of the Baillergeau neighborhood and roller-skater of Port-au-Prince will perform during the afternoon while the musical entertainment will be provided throughout the FestiVIL by a DJ.

On the giant screen will be broadcast the testimonies of the beneficiaries collected from the live crowd before the screening of several documentaries on PARAQ program and the famous HOME by Yann Arthus Bertrand, translated and commented in Creole.

BIC will be on stage at 7:00 p.m. for a free concert. It will be preceded by the group Asotò, come specially from Petit-Goâve where two PARAQ projects were carried out.
