The Ministry of Public Health informs that 228 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Haiti (the day before: +141), for a total of 4,916 cases throughout the national territory (40.2% women and 59.8% men) since the first case (March 19, 2020 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-30319-haiti-health-origin-of-the-first-2-cases-of-covid-19-in-haiti.html ).

Deaths : 2 new deaths were recorded 1 in the West and 1 in the Northwest bringing the national total to 84.

Healings : 24 people healed (information not updated by the Ministry since May 31, 2020)

Active cases : (less death and recovery): 4.808 (+ 4.93%) +226 in 24 hours (the day before: +139). The 10 departments saw their number of new cases increase, an increase of 62.59% at the national level.

Number of suspected cases investigated since March 19 : 9,813 cases (+162) in 24 hours the day before (+298).
