On the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Chancellor Claude Joseph has very fruitful discussions with the Permanent Representative of the United States to the United Nations, Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greinfield, on the situation in Haiti.

"We agreed on the need for sustained support from the international community for the efforts of the Prime Minister, Ariel Henry in order to find a consensus on the improvement of political governance, social appeasement, the resolution of the thorny problem of insecurity and the creation of conditions conducive to the organization of free, inclusive and democratic elections guaranteeing the return to constitutional order and the normal functioning of republican institutions, » indicated Claude Joseph.
