This Monday, May 9, 2022 at 12:45 p.m. and 52 seconds, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 on the Richter scale was recorded in Haiti in the Department of Nippes The epicenter was located at 18.515 degrees North latitude and 73.652 degrees West longitude, 3 km north northwest of 73.652 Nippes (Dept. Nippes), 15 km southwest of Petit-Trou-de -Nippes (Dept. Nippes) and 142km southwest of Port-au-Prince (Dept. West), at a depth of 10 km. No loss of life or damage has been reported so far by the Civil Protection in relation to this new earthquake.
