Haiti - Insecurity : A FADH member killed in P-au-P

Tuesday afternoon, Kerby Normil, a soldier of the Armed Forces of Haiti (FADH) from the 4th promotion of the Corps of Military Engineers and who was trained in Ecuador, was shot dead in Port-au-Prince, in street Joseph Janvier near Place Sainte-Anne by armed individuals on motorbikes.

The soldier hit by several projectiles, at least seven projectiles according to a police source, did not survive.

At least two other people were reportedly injured during this attack and taken to a hospital to receive the care their cases require, including a woman who accompanied him and who was shot in the neck.

According to some information, his brother, who accompanied also him in the vehicle, died in hospital from his injuries.

The reason for this attack according to certain information, to be taken with the usual precautions, would be a settling of scores relating to the division of family property following the death of his father.
