The private Haitian airline Sunrise Airways established in Haiti and the Dominican Republic (DR) opens a new direct route between Santo Domingo (DR) and Kingston in Jamaica

From August 11, 2022, every Thursday and Sunday, a direct flight between the Sunrise Airways hub at La Isabela International Airport (also known as Joaquín Balaguer International Airport - JBQ) and Kingston (KIN), the capital from Jamaica, will offer passengers new business and tourism opportunities.

The 1h30 non-stop flight between JBQ and KIN is planned in connection with Sunrise flights from Port-au-Prince to allow passengers from Haiti to easily connect to Kingston. The fluidity of La Isabela airport and the direct 90-minute flight offers the fastest and most comfortable service to Kingston.

These flights will be operated by the Dominican subsidiary of Sunrise Airways, the company Geca Servicios Aereos S.A. holder of a Dominican AOC certificate.
