Haiti - NOTICE : Philippe Chaffanjon Prize 2023, Call for applications

Pierre Haski, President of the Jury as well as Dany Laferrière, Honorary President launched the call for applications for the Philippe Chaffanjon Prize 2023. Applications are open to all forms of existing productions in the media landscape.

The Philippe Chaffanjon Prize, which rewards a report published on a French press site and a report published on a Haitian press website, opens its applications until December 20, 2022.

The Prize continues its desire to highlight reports in the era of time on the content and on the form. Multimedia reports, podcasts, investigative videos, filmed investigations, or any other innovative format will be eligible as long as it is published within the year on a press website.

The jury chaired by Pierre Haski reminds us that journalistic quality and reports that tell the world objectively are essential selection criteria. Each of the winning reports is endowed with a prize of 2,500 euros, awarded during a ceremony at the Maison de la Radio et de la Musique in June 2023, and will be published on the websites of the partner media.

Application conditions :

- The subject and the format are free

- The press card is not compulsory

- Only one report must be sent per application

- The report must already have been broadcast by a French or Haitian press website during the year 2022

- Applications should be submitted on the website: www.prixphilippechaffanjon.org

The jury is chaired by Pierre Haski, president of Reporters Without Borders and geopolitical columnist at France inter, brings together leading journalists and media personalities :

Matthieu Aron journalist L'Obs, Philippe Antoine, editorial director of BFM Régions, Florence Aubenas journalist Le Monde, author, Alexandre Brachet CEO and founder of UPIAN, Charlotte Chaffanjon journalist Liberation, author, Jean-Pierre Dorian editor-in-chief Sud -Ouest, Jacques Expert author, former France Inter reporter and former director of programs and the RTL antenna, Olivier Geay editor-in-chief RTL, Isabelle Labeyrie journalist, head of the Europe France Info division, Franck Moulin editorial director and DGA from RTL news, Fanny Stenneler journalist France TV.
