Haiti - Social : Poverty line, Haiti on the Podium in 2nd position

The national poverty line is the benchmark for estimating poverty indicators that are consistent with country-specific economic and social circumstances, that reflect local perceptions of the level and composition of consumption or income needed to avoid poverty. to be poor.

According to the World Bank, the poverty line defined by each country generally reflects the amount below which the minimum nutritional, clothing and housing needs of a person in that country cannot be met.

Top 5 countries (Latin America & Caribbean) with the highest % of population living below the poverty line:
