Haiti - History : Message from the Presidency of Nicaragua

Message from the Presidency of Nicaragua:

"His excellence

Ariel Henry

Prime Minister of the Republic of Haiti,

Dear Mr. Prime Minister

On the special occasion of commemorating the Victory of the Revolution and the 219TH Anniversary of the Proclamation of Independence, this coming 1ST January, 2023, we recognize the History of Resistance of the Brotherly Haitian People, who managed to overcome and defeat the selfishness and excesses of imperial oppression.

On this memorable and historic date we recognize the example and enduring legacy of the Revolutionary Leaders and Fathers of the Nation, General Toussaint Louverture, Jean-Jacques Dessalines, Alexandre Pétion and Henry Christophe, who tirelessly fought for Freedom, Self-Determination and National Sovereignty; Inalienable Rights of our Dignified and Free Peoples.

Receive, Dear Brother, our Fraternal Embrace, with the Love and Respect of the Nicaraguan People for the Brotherly Haitian People."
