At 7:31 and 45 seconds in the morning, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4 on the Richter scale, at 7:37 in the morning with a magnitude of 3.6 then at 9:11 and 34 seconds with a magnitude of 3.9 then a small with a magnitude 2.6 at 1:41 and 27 seconds in the morning were recorded in Haiti off Jérémie (Dept. Grand'Anse).

The epicenter of the magnitude 4 earthquake was located at 18.82 degrees north latitude and 74.15 degrees west longitude, at sea 22 km north of Jérémie (Dept. Grand'Anse), 89 km south-west of 'Île de la Gonâve (West Dept), 120 km northwest of Miragoâne (Dept. Nippes) and 196 km northwest of Port-au-Prince (West Dept), at a depth of 4 km.

No loss of life or damage has been reported so far by the Civil Protection in relation to this new earthquake...
