Sunrise Airways : First Flight from Miami

On Thursday, November 20, 2025, a new Sunrise Airways aircraft, arriving from Miami, landed at Cap-Haitien Airport. The aircraft will now operate the Cap-Haitien/Miami route. This marks another step in the Haitian airline's expansion strategy. "We want to meet the needs of our customers. Another aircraft will arrive soon to serve the Cap-Haitien/Fort Lauderdale route," said Philippe Bayard, CEO of Sunrise Airways.

RNDDH Accuses

In a strongly worded letter addressed to the Chief Inspector General of the Haitian National Police, the National Network for the Defense of Human Rights (RNDDH) expressed its concern regarding the events reported since the installation of the new Divisional Commissioner, Justin Marc, as head of the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ).
