Bloodbath in Pont Sondé:

On the evening of Saturday, November 29, 2025, the "Gran Grif" terrorist gang of Savien once again attacked Pont-Sondé, the fifth communal section of Saint-Marc. Heavy automatic gunfire sowed panic from 9:00 PM until dawn. In addition to an undetermined number of residents killed or wounded, which appears to be significant according to several accounts, houses and cars were set on fire. No casualty figures are available at this time.

95 Years of AS Capoise

On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of Association Sportive Capoise, the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) admiringly salutes the longevity, consistency, and sporting legacy of this iconic club of the city of Cap-Haïtien. Sexual violence against women and girls is used as a weapon of intimidation, territorial control, and domination (UNFPA 2023 Annual Report in Haiti). Nearly 76% of women who experienced physical or sexual violence reported not seeking help (Morbidity, Mortality, and Service Utilization Survey - EMMUS VI).

Work for deportees from the Dominican Republic:

Upon returning to Haiti, the reintegration of deported migrants begins with dignified work to support their families. The Haitian Ministry of Agriculture, the IOM, and the French Embassy in Haiti are restoring the irrigation system in Plaine-du-Nord to support communities and reduce the causes of displacement.

An Award for Jerry Tardieu

Former Deputy Jerry Tardieu, President of the political party "En Avant" received the 2025 France-Latin America-Caribbean Association Special Adward at the Maison de l'Amérique latine in Paris for his work in restoring peace and democratic institutions in Haiti.

Correctional and Criminal Court Hearings:

Fritz Patterson Dorval, Government Commissioner to the Court of First Instance of Port-au-Prince, visited the Center for the Education and Reintegration of Minors in Conflict with the Law (CERMICOL). On the instructions of the Ministry of Justice, the purpose of this visit was to assess the situation and evaluate the detainees. According to the Port-au-Prince Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry is currently working to establish correctional and criminal courtrooms starting this December.
