PNH : Large-Scale Offensive in Tabarre

On Friday, February 27, 2026, the Haitian National Police (PNH) launched a large-scale offensive against armed gangs in the commune of Tabarre, fatally wounding several terrorists during numerous assaults. Specialized PNH units worked to fill trenches dug by the criminals, who aimed to block the advance of PNH armored vehicles. Searches of buildings in the area led to the discovery of a large cache of Molotov cocktails, which were destroyed on site.

DR : 35,026 Haitians Deported in January

According to the General Directorate of Migration (DGM), in January 2026, 38,392 Haitians in an irregular immigration situation were apprehended and 35,026 were deported. Artibonite : Successful Rice Transplanting

The farmers participating in the REPONSE project in Artibonite successfully completed rice transplanting in February.
