PNH : Preparations for the Graduation of the 36th Class

Friday, April 17, 2026, Inspector General Alain Auguste, Head of the Central Directorate of Administration and Services The Generals held a working meeting dedicated to preparations for the graduation ceremony of the 36th class of the Haitian National Police (PNH). This new class, from the P4000 program, represents a major strategic reinforcement for the police force. The session was exclusively devoted to coordinating the logistical, administrative, and security aspects to ensure the flawless execution of this institutional event.

CEP : New Executive Director

Uder Antoine has been appointed the new Executive Director of the Provisional Electoral Council. He is expected to take office on Monday, April 20, 2026. He replaces Philippe Augustin in this position. "The Board is counting on the collaboration of management and all staff to support the new Executive Director in his mission to ensure the smooth operation of the institution."

Grand'Anse : Appointment Letters for 40 Nurses

On Friday, April 17, 2026, following the North, Northwest, Central, West, and South departments, 40 nurses who passed the competitive exam for integration into the healthcare system in the Grande Anse department received their appointment letters as part of an initiative to strengthen the healthcare workforce. The files for the four remaining departments are progressing satisfactorily. The population will soon be able to benefit from their knowledge and skills.

2026 World Cup : The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Commits

Raina Forbin, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, recently received a delegation led by Monique André, President of the Normalization Committee of the Haitian Football Federation (FHF). Minister Forbin reaffirmed the Government's support for the development of national sport and Haiti's representation on the international stage. In this regard, Minister Forbin pledged to take the necessary steps, in coordination with the relevant institutions, to facilitate the mobility of national teams, particularly through the issuance of appropriate official documents, in order to alleviate travel-related constraints.
