Village de Dieu, the offensive continues:

On Tuesday afternoon, the offensive continued in Village de Dieu. Intense gunfire, explosive drones, tear gas, and armored vehicles belonging to the Haitian National Police (PNH) were used by security forces. During the violent clashes, many residents fled the combat zones toward Martissant.

Winner of the "My Ideas Against Corruption in 180 Seconds

Public Speaking Competition: The Karibe Hotel hosted the grand finale of the first edition of the "My Ideas Against Corruption in 180 Seconds" public speaking competition, themed "Uniting with Youth in the Fight Against Corruption." After an intense competition involving ten finalists, primarily from the State University of Haiti (UEH) and private universities, Woodson Tienotte (FAMV/FASCH) was crowned the grand prize winner. This competition, a joint initiative of the Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC) and the Rectorate of the State University of Haiti (UEH), with the support of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), was organized.

World Rum Festival

The 3rd edition of the World Rum Festival will be held from June 9 to 11, 2026, at the Carreau du Temple in Paris, under the theme "Lands and Territories of Rum" with Haiti as the guest of honor.
