
Haiti - FLASH : 4.0 earthquake in the North-West 11/07/2026 10:12:08
During the night of Friday to Saturday July 11, 2026, an earthquake measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale was recorded at 12:10:54 a.m. (midnight), at sea, 18 km north of Jean Rabel (North West Department). The epicenter was located at 20.03 degrees north latitude and 73.20 degrees west longitude 31 km northeast of Môle Saint-Nicolas (North West Dept.), 23 km west of Tortue Island (North West Dept.), 109 km North West of Cap-Haitien (North Dept.) at a depth of 5 km. Civil Protection (DPC) has so far reported no loss of life, injuries or damage in relation to this moderate seismic event. HL/ HaitiLibre
