Jean Roosevelt René, Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action, launched last week the construction of 2 sports Parks, in the departments of Centre and of North-East.

In Papaille (Centre), in the presence of the authorities of the municipality, the Minister proceeded to the Laying of the foundation stone of the construction of a sports park that will include : a football field, a basketball court, two locker rooms of international standard, a tribune for VIP and bleachers that can accommodate 3,000 people.

At Mont Organisé (North East) over 3,000 people came to welcome the Minister to the launch of construction of new sports facilities. The model developed has been modified, following the recommendations of the authorities and inhabitants of the area, who wished to erect a sports park with a football field, a multi-sports field, locker room, WC, grandstand and bleachers.

The Minister continued his tour in Mirebalais, Milot and Ouanaminthe sports where major projects are underway. René Jean Roosevelt said he was satisfied with the progress.

In Ouanaminthe border town, will be implemented the

Complex departmental Northeast, which will host the Friendship Games Haitian-Dominican 2013.
