Haiti - Tourism : Agreement between the Ministry of Tourism and Natcom

Thursday, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industries (MICT) and the National Telecom (NATCOM) initialed a partnership agreement for the promotion of Haiti through images of the destination.

Under the terms of this protocol of Billboards and road signs will be erected in tourist areas to better direct tourists to the natural attractions of the destination.

In addition to the main terms of the contract, Natcom will also put at the service of tourists the possibility of renting a phone with a SIM card credited allowing them to communicate during their stay in Haiti.

The axis of promotion in the MTIC's policy designed to put back Haiti on the world map of tourism has intensified in the last three years. This agreement with NATCOM comes as another testimony of the desire of the Ministry to propel the sector.
