Haiti - Politic : Attack of Paris, sympathy note of G8

In a note, the presidential candidates of the opposition members of the G8, condemn the attacks that occurred in Paris Friday, November 13 and submit to the French people their sincere condolences and the assurance of their solidarity in these tragic circumstances.

"We, the signatories of the present, condemn these attacks in Paris where terrorists have shed the blood of innocent victims.

We express our concern before the rise of violence on a global scale, of the religious fundamentalism and the spread of terrorism in all its forms.

Nothing can absolve this abominable crime whose the savagery and extreme violence collide the consciences, and even the entire humanity.

The new global reality appeals to the international solidarity of peoples thirsting for peace, justice and social welfare.

To the families of the innocent victims, the Presidency, the Government and the French people, we ask our friends of the Embassy of France to kindly convey our sincere condolences and the assurance of our solidarity in these tragic circumstances."

Note signed by the candidates member of G8 : Sauveur Pierre Étienne (OPL), Moïse Jean-Charles (Pitit Dessalines), Jude Célestin (LAPHEH), Jean-Henry Céant (Renmen Ayiti), Steeven I. Benoît (Konviksyon), Mario Andrésol (Indépendant), Éric Jean Baptiste (MAS), Samuel Madistin (MOPOD).
