Haiti - FLASH : An activist shot and wounded during his arrest in Petit-Goâve...

Friday morning in Béatrice (Petit-Goâve), Acao Rinor an activist of the ASK, was shot and wounded by police at the time of his arrest, in circumstances that remain to be determined.

Acao Rilnor, before being rushed to a hospital of Port-au-Prince, in a vehicle of the Police Station of Petit-Goâve, said on Radio Preference FM despite his suffering "I am touched and I was then beaten by the police"...

Let's recall that Acao Rinor was subject to an arrest warrant, following a complaint by Jean Samson Limongy, the elected mayor of Petit-Goâve, which accused the victim of throwing stones against his office during a protest demonstration organized by supporters of his opponent Félix Solomon defeated candidate for Mayor of Petit-Goâve, under the banner of the ASK. https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-15877-haiti-news-electoral-zapping.html
