In recent months, several memoranda of understanding signed, and others in the process of being finalized between Haitian and Spanish academic institutions, have strengthened relations between the two countries.

Academic and scientific cooperation between Haiti and Spain is becoming more concrete with the arrival soon in the Kingdom of a dozen Haitian students and professionals for the academic year 2021-2022.

Embassy of Haiti in Spain welcomed the commitment of Spanish institutions which, despite the socioeconomic crisis caused by the pandemic, will welcome 12 new Haitian students and professionals : in medicine, economics, law and architecture , among others, in several universities and institutions such as the Catholic University of Saint Anthony of Murcia (x2), the Rey Junn Carlos University (URJC) (x7) and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (x1).

Note that two (2) civil servants of the Public Administration will also participate in the Masters programs in the field of techniques and sciences of water quality at the University of Granada (x1) and in Diplomacy and International Relations at the University of Granada.
