Haiti - FLASH : Problem of drinking water supply in the capital

In a note, the Technical Exploitation Center of the Metropolitan Region of Port-au-Prince (CTE/RMPP) informs its customers, in particular those of Delmas (Delmas 31, 71, 75, Catalpa and its surroundings), Tabarre, Cité Soleil, Mariani and its surroundings that given the troubled socio-political context and especially the fuel shortage in the country, the institution has difficulty in ensuring the supply of drinking water to customers of the mentioned municipalities.

In addition, the CTE/RMPP would like to point out to Delmas customers that the Delmas 34 pump motor has broken down, which further complicates the supply of water to subscribers in the Delmas 34 neighborhoods up to 75. A team was mobilized to repair the pump motor and be able to service our customers again.

The CTE/RMPP apologizes for these inconveniences due to the difficult situation that the country is going through at the moment, while promising to work for the continuous improvement of the service.
