Haiti - Politic : PM visits and motivates special units of the PNH and soldiers of the FAd’H

On Sunday, October 20, Prime Minister Garry Conille visited several specialized units of the Haitian National Police (PNH) at the Police Academy, Routes de Frères and soldiers at the Armed Forces Headquarters (FAd’H) to provide solidarity and motivation to the law enforcement officers who are conducting operations against armed gangs in areas of the metropolitan region of Port-au-Prince to defend the Haitian population.

This was an opportunity for the Head of Government to discuss with the Director General of the PNH and the High Staff of the FAd’H on new strategies to be implemented to resolve the current security crisis.

"We are moving forward every day, in a more strategic and effective manner, to act together to regain control of the spaces occupied by criminal groups," said Conille

"We are strengthening the operational capacity of the National Police officers and the soldiers of the Haitian Armed Forces to restore security in the country. It is our duty, it is our mission," explained the Head of Government.
