Fire in a voodoo temple, 6 victims
Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, during a voodoo ceremony on the occasion of the Day of the Dead, at Mambo Marlie's, (Montagne Noire, Pétion-ville), 6 people were seriously burned when a fire broke out in the peristyle in unexplained circumstances.

DDO-1 : Towards a new strategic security plan

Ban on sharing criminal videos
The Port-au-Prince Prosecutor's Office would like to remind everyone that it is strictly forbidden to share or publish criminal videos on various communication platforms. This includes, but is not limited to, videos showing acts of violence, crimes, offenses or any other illegal activity. Consequently, any person found guilty of disseminating, sharing or promoting criminal videos is subject to sanctions and criminal prosecution.

Taekwondo : National Championship
Sunday, November 3rd, 2024, ahead of the National Championship, scheduled for December 7 in Artibonite, the North-West, the North-East, the South and the West, the Executive Committee of the Haitian Taekwondo Federation met with the leaders of the various departmental associations. Two training sessions will also be organized for coaches and referees.

School Rally : Reforestation Operation
On Friday, November 1st, as part of the School Rally, more than 500 fruit and forest tree seedlings were planted in Tête Source Simon (Commune of Les Cayes) by dozens of students from Saint-Louis du Sud, Chantal, Aquin, Maniche, Aux Coteaux, Camp-Perrin, Les Anglais and Torbeck. This initiative aims not only to strengthen the vegetation cover of this region, but also to raise awareness among young people about the importance of reforestation practices and tree planting techniques.
