The President Michel Martelly, sends its congratulations to the new President of the Dominican Republic, Mr. Danilo Medina, for his election in the first round of presidential Dominican held this Sunday, May 20.

The Head of State take this opportunity to formulate its wish for success to the elected President of the Dominican Republic at the time to assume his new position. The President Martelly, on behalf of the Government and people of Haiti, reaffirms its commitment to maintain and strengthen the cordial relations that have always characterized the history of both countries.
