Haiti - Politic : The Executive has filed 10 bills

Recently, the Executive Power has filed in the House of Deputies, 10 bills that will help the authorities to regulate various sectors of the national life. Among these bills, one on the creation, organization and functioning of the National Fund for Education (FNE), that will allow to fund the Free Compulsory Schooling Program (PSUGO), the school feeding program, the construction of school facilities and of technical education.

9 other bills also await the approval of Parliament :

Bill on the protection of consumers;

Bill fixing the number and the name of ministries;

Bill amending certain articles of the Law of 10 June 2009 that set the rules on public procurement and to the conventions of concession of public service work;

Bill on the establishment of the National Center of standardization, of certification and of promotion of the quality;

Bill on the organization and functioning of Central Services of the Primature;

Bill on the quality control of foodstuffs;

Bill sanctioning money laundering and terrorist financing;

Bill on e-government;

Bill on electronic exchanges.

The government Martelly-Lamothe want by these bills, fill the legal vacuum in many areas and continue to work with Parliament to constitute a viable legal corpus and adapted to the proper functioning of the Haitian state.
