Haiti - Politic : Installation of the Bicameral Commission

The Office of the Lower House, sent to the President of the Senate, a correspondence, informing it of the choice of its representatives to the Bicameral Commission. The Chamber of Deputies has reduced from 9 to 7 its deputies commissioners and modified its initial list, removing 4 deputies and adding 2 new. For its part, the Upper House, in order to establish a Commission balanced (truly in parity) added 3 senators bringing to 7 the number of its commissioners.

The Senator Dieuseul Simon Desras, President of the Senate has confirmed that the parity Commission bicameral, composed of 14 members (7 deputies and 7 senators) must be installed on Thursday, February 14 at 9:30 am and start working to choose the 3 representatives of Legislative Power, to serve on the College Transitional of Permanent Electoral Council (CTCEP), responsible for organizing the elections.

The Commission will have 10 working days from installation, to present the results of its work in Parliament.
