Haiti - Politic : Laurent Lamothe thanks the Capois and the Haitian people

Following the three three fay days of the National Carnival 2013, held this year in Cap-Haitien, the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, thanked the Capois and all the Haitian people as a whole for its solidarity, its union, for its spirit of tolerance and insisted on the importance of maintaining this spirit of unity and cohesion, to maintain the political stability and allow the development of the country.

"[...] the President Martelly and myself with all our heart, we thank all the people at Cap, for their welcome, their hospitality and brotherhood that the Capoise population has shown during the course of the carnival. The northern population has shown once again its maturity and pride for his city, the pride chirstophienne.

We will continue to work for the people in the North and the entire population in the rest of the country, there are several projects that we will continue to run for these departments [...] I would like to thank all the people of Haiti, in its whole for its solidarity, union, for its spirit of tolerance, I hope that this spirit of unity and assembly, continues for the rest of the year, for the remainder of the term of President Martelly.

It is in the union, is by walking hand in hand, it is in political stability, we can develop the country and not by burning tires, in conflict and the injury of others [...] We need this union, this fraternity, so that we can continue to work to make the dream we all have, which is the country's development, become a reality.

Once again, the government is proud of the people of the North, we are proud of the people Capois, we are also proud of the committee that organized the carnival, we are proud of the Ministries of Culture, Tourism, TPTC who have done much work [...] we are proud of delegates, mayors, CASEC, ASEC, of all these people who made these efforts, to get where we are today. To all, I offer my compliments, and we are very pleased with what has been done, that it is only a starting point. We ask the people of Northern to walk together with us, keep working, do not let the work where it is.

I remind you that the Cap was a big tourist destination and the current government, made considerable efforts for the Cap can become a major tourist destination.

There are many investments that are made, airport, Caracol Industrial Park... there are different investments, which are made throughout the department so tha the North may be at a different level. Soon, we will return to inaugurate the administrative complex, which will provide the population with better service, for the future Capois, which is in our heart can be able to land..."
