Monday, the President Michel Martelly, made an inspection tour in the department of Nippes [northern coast of the peninsula of Tiburon]. Upon arrival, the Head of State was welcomed among others by Alex Tropnaz the Departmental Delegate, Marie Denise Bellabre, President of the Municipal Council of Miragoâne, the Deputy Wilner Guervil [Anse-à-Veau/Arnaud].

By this tour, the President of the Republic, wanted to ensure among other things, the smooth running of road infrastructure in progress in Miragoâne, Petite Rivière de Nippes and Anse-à-Veau. Moreover, he wanted to verify if proper security measures [signs] were taken at the level of certain zones deemed dangerous.

The President Martelly visited the finishing work on bridges built on the Rivière Froide and the Grande Rivière de Nippes, in the town of Anse-à-Veau. The Head of State said during his tour, that funds were already available for the realization of other infrastructure works in several other departments of the country.

Finally, the Head of State went to Carrefour Desruisseaux, where he visited the construction of a roundabout and a playground built for young people of the region.

We must clarify that these projects, in progress in Nippes, are carried out by the Ministry of Public Works and private companies both local and international "The works are part of the dynamics of progress towards a better distribution of goods and services to the Haitian people," declared the Head of State which announced their inauguration soon.

In addition, the President Martelly has indicated that 60 million Gourdes were released for agricultural recovery in the department of Nippes.
