The Directorate General of the EDH informs its customers, that as part of the rehabilitation works at the sub-station of Carrefour-Feuilles and maintenance work in the sub-station of Rivière Froide, the zones of Pétion-Ville and its surroundings include: Kenscoff, Canapé-Vert, Bourdon, Downtown Port-au-Prince, Martissant, Carrefour and Leogane, it will be without electricity Thursday, March 28, 2013 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

These cuts are planned in the framework of the Action Plan 2012-2013, which makes the rehabilitation, maintenance and modernization of circuits, plants and substations its top priority. The substation of Carrefour-Feuilles, will benefit from the installation of two 69 KV breakers while a 69 KV switch defective will be replaced at the substation of Rivière Froide. These upgrades will allow therefore to these sub-stations to better meet the needs of the population they serve.

The EDH would also like to warn people of Delmas and Musseau, than works of tree pruning on the 69 KV lines will be undertaken in their locality and requests therefore their cooperation and understanding.
