Haiti - NOTICE : Blackouts scheduled

The Directorate General of Electricity of Haiti (EDH) informs its customers in particular and the public in general, that of rehabilitation works of Circuit CPV 2-1 will begin this Tuesday, April 9, 2013 on circuits of the metropolitan area, in particular the section of Laboule 10 and Laboule 20, as well as the installation of a second transformer of 10 MVA at the sub-station of Croix-des-Bouquets.

To this end, an interruption is scheduled for the localities of Laboule 12 to Laboule 20, this uesday, April 9, 2013, from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am to facilitate the delivery and installation of poles. To this end, the EDH solicits the collaboration of residents and especially truck drivers, so that work can be done in a timely manner and in the best conditions.

In addition, on Tuesday, a second 10 MVA transformer will be installed at the substation of Croix-des-Bouquets, to provide the population with better service. Consequently, the zones of Croix des Bouquets, Road of Malpasse, Ganthier, La Tremblay and Fonds Parisien will be without electricity from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
